We are based on Dharawal country, which extends south from Botany Bay (Kamay) to Wreck
Bay (Booderee) in New South Wales. The landscape is mostly the beaches, rivers and
temperate rainforest of the East Coast escarpment. Here in the Northern
part of their land the Dharawal fished and hunted around the
spectacular gorges carved by the Woronora River and feasted on shellfish
from the mangrove mudflats where the Woronora and Georges Rivers join
to flow into Botany Bay.
We
acknowledge the traditional owners of the land on which we are based
and pay our respects to the Elders past and present, and we
support the Uluru Statement from the Heart.
